MEDITATION IS USEFUL TO AN ORGANISM
Ancient art of meditation is extremely useful both for physical health of the person, and for a condition of its nervous system - to this conclusion scientists from Great Britain have come, studying features of behaviour and thinking of group of people from twenty five persons who regularly were engaged in meditation in one of the Buddhist centres. The special tests which analogues were received also by twenty five usual people who are not engaged in meditation have been given out people. Results of polls have shown that the people regularly meditating, show excellent ability to concentration and an intellectual concentration, are easier trained and master new knowledge and skills. Results of their tests were much higher, rather than results of tests of usual people. From this scientists have drawn conclusions that meditation well influences brain work. Meditation, according to scientists, makes appreciable impact on speed and efficiency of thinking and decision-making, and the people who are engaged in meditation, test much bigger self-trust and do not face problems with a self-estimation, and also differ good memory and ability not to distract on a trifle during serious business. By means of meditation each person can relax and get rid of stress, having stayed alone with itself, and besides, thanks to meditation each person can strengthen the immune system. That meditation makes active protective forces of an organism, scientists from California have learnt not so long ago, having analysed meditation influence on some sites of a brain. Antistressful influence which meditation renders on human mentality, promotes appreciable increase in quantity T-limfotsitov in blood which are responsible for human immunity. Meditating some times in a week of all for 20 minutes, according to scientists, the person can protect itself from set of diseases.
